This is Lisa's tips on Heroarts.com with a video sharing techniques for using the new DIY Message Blocks. These wood blocks come three in a pack and make great last minute gifts or home decor.
Here’s a closer look at the projects from the video. First up, the JOY blocks. For this one I used the Subway Alphabet stencil and these sponge daubers to apply black ink. Then I stamped the ornament from the Fancy Christmas Stamp & Cuts.

I added a gem to the ornament and that was that.
Now on to the Peace & Joy blocks. These are just as easy to do, and look so pretty with the tide pooland white daubers.

The grooves in the ornaments are also perfect for tying with twine and turning a block into an ornament. Fill a tree with the initials of everyone in the family!
